SYNOPSIS:

Chelo Zamora (Lolita) is a has-been singer who performs in cheap restaurants and hotels on the beach. While performing her repertoire (''Bambola''; ''Caramba, carambita''; ''La mentira''; ''Mediterráneo''; ''Será el amor''...) in a pizza parlour in a tourist town on the Valencian coast, it is by chance she meets Toni (Jorge Perugorría), a petty thief who earns a living hiring the pedal boats on the beach. Meeting him once again awakens memories of a long-gone and shady past to Chelo. From this moment onwards she is determined to ruin the life of a man who, according to her, made her risk and lose the little she had managed for herself up to then.

Chelo starts to sow the seeds of resentment managing for him to be dismissed from work, for his girlfriend, Esther (Elena Anaya), to leave him, for him to break apart from his friends... and, to complicate things even further, for Natalia (Mar Regueras) to come to the village, a woman with whom he had a relationship and a baby, Miguel Ángel (Noé Alcázar), now a truly unbearable child. Toni stops hiding and faces up to defend himself from all that which is closing in on him. But when the police appear on the scene, Esther decides to have an abortion and Toni discovers he is a father, although his relationship with Miguel Ángel is not precisely good. He will be forced to take a series of decisions leading to a an ending that is as surprising as unexpected.
